The GEL-Nimbus 27 is one of the most comfortable shoes in the ASICS running range, built for runners who want maximum cushioning over long distances without extra bulk.
About 20 grams lighter than the previous version, the Nimbus 28 keeps the plush, cloud-like ride the line is known for while feeling noticeably more refined underfoot. A combination of FF BLAST PLUS midsole foam and an updated PureGEL compound — roughly 65% softer than standard GEL — delivers a soft landing and real shock absorption, mile after mile.
The upper has also been reworked into a softer engineered knit that wraps the foot comfortably for long runs, paired with a semi-gusseted tongue for a secure, locked-in fit. A fully redesigned Hybrid ASICSGRIP outsole improves durability and grip compared to the previous model.
